A plain-language explanation of how we look after the small amount of personal information you share with our studio.
1. Who we are
Naturrestore is a small independent studio based at 222-224 Westbourne Grove, London W11 2RH, United Kingdom. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" refer to the studio. "You" means a person who visits our website, fills in our contact form, orders one of our products or subscribes to our personalised checklist plan.
We act as the data controller for the personal information described in this document. This means we decide why and how your personal information is processed.
2. The information we collect
We collect only what we need to reply to you, deliver an order or send you a checklist plan you have asked for. In particular we may collect:
- Contact details such as your name and email address that you write into our contact form.
- Order details such as your postal address and the items you would like to receive when you place an order.
- Questionnaire answers that you choose to share when we are designing a personalised evening checklist for you.
- Technical information automatically created by your browser, such as the time of your visit, the page you opened and the type of device you are using.
We do not ask for and we do not knowingly collect information about health, religion, political opinions or any other sensitive category.
3. Why we use your information
Your personal information is used for a small number of clear purposes:
- To reply to a message you have sent us through the contact form.
- To prepare and deliver an order you have placed for one of our paper goods or for a personalised checklist plan.
- To improve our website by understanding which pages are useful and which are confusing.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping reasonable accounting records.
4. Our lawful basis
Under the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation we rely on the following lawful bases:
- Consent when you tick the consent box on our contact form or accept cookies in the privacy notice.
- Contract when we need to process an order you have placed.
- Legitimate interests for limited activities such as keeping our website secure and improving its content.
5. How long we keep your information
We keep contact form messages for up to twelve months after we have replied. Order records are kept for six years to meet basic accounting requirements. Questionnaire answers used to build a personalised plan are kept for the duration of your subscription and deleted within three months after it ends, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
6. Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with a small number of carefully chosen service providers who help us operate the studio. These currently include:
- Our email hosting provider, which stores the messages you send us.
- Our payment processor, which handles secure card payments for orders placed by email.
- Our printer and delivery partner in London, who receive only the postal information required to deliver your order.
Each provider is required by contract to process personal information only on our instructions and to keep it secure.
7. International transfers
Wherever possible we choose suppliers based in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. If a supplier is based outside these regions we make sure that an appropriate transfer mechanism is in place, for example standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
8. Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal information, to ask us to correct anything that is wrong, to ask us to delete information we no longer need, to ask us to restrict how we use it, to object to certain types of processing and to ask us to transfer it to another provider.
You can exercise any of these rights by writing to us through the contact form. We aim to respond within thirty days. If you believe we have not handled your information correctly you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. These include encrypted connections to our website, restricted access to systems that hold personal information, and regular reviews of the suppliers we work with.
10. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of sixteen. If you believe a younger person has shared personal information with us please write to us and we will remove it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our studio or to applicable law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. We encourage you to read it again whenever you place a new order or start a new plan with us.
12. Contact
If you have any questions about this policy or about your personal information please write to us through the contact form. We are happy to help and we will always reply in plain language.
